Billy Crafton chocolate connoisseur? Well I’m certainly on my way. I recently did an interview with Chocolate Connoisseur Magazine for a new category of articles they’re just starting to publish – profiles on those of us who love chocolate and eat it regularly as part of a healthy diet – and late last week it went live over on the Chocolate Connoisseur site.

It was a lot of fun just to get to talk chocolate with the magazine Editor-in-Chief Eric Battersby, who also wrote the article itself, and was a fun learning experience as well. In addition to (of course) speaking a fair amount about all the time I devote to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, I also touched on how chocolate plays a part in my training, and shared a funny, chocolate-related story from my childhood that I hope you’ll enjoy.

What I really loved, however, was sharing the amazing trip my wife Katie and I had to Peru not long ago (hence the two photos shared above from the article). The trip included stops in Cusco and of course Macchu Picchu, and also a stay in Sacred Valley, plus we went on a little chocolate adventure along the way, in Ollantaytambo.
